Billionaire Leon Black has filed a lawsuit against the House Oversight Committee, challenging a subpoena issued as part of the panel's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. The lawsuit was filed before Black was scheduled to appear for a deposition related to the probe.
The committee has been investigating the business dealings and associations of Epstein, a convicted sex offender who died in 2019. Black, a former CEO of Apollo Global Management, was among those the committee sought to question regarding their connections to Epstein.
