Lee Ryan and Verity expecting fifth child together

Blue singer Lee Ryan, 43, and his wife Verity, 35, are expecting their fifth child together. This will be their fifth child as a couple, and Ryan's seventh in total.

Ryan announced the news on Instagram Monday with a video set to the song "Everybody Get Up" by rival boyband Five. In the clip, Ryan and Verity mime the lyrics as the video counts through their children, before Verity holds up an ultrasound photo in front of her baby bump. The family is then shown dancing around their pool at their home in Spain.

Verity, an Ariana Grande impersonator who competed on The X Factor in 2009, and Ryan welcomed their fourth child, a daughter, a year ago. Ryan is also father to teenagers Bluebell, 16, from a previous relationship with Jessica Keevil, and Rayn, 15, whose mother is ex-fiancée Samantha Miller.

The couple legally married in Gibraltar in 2022 and later held a larger ceremony in Seville in October 2024, two years after their legal union. They moved to Spain four years ago. Ryan has said that Verity "saved my life" and that he knew she was the one by their second date. The couple collaborates creatively, writing songs together, and Ryan credits Verity with understanding his career demands and balancing his personality.
