Lee Andrews, Katie Price's Ex, Reappears on Social Media Following Prison Stint
Andrews, who rebranded himself as 'Britain's Bad Boy,' posted a sauna selfie and reactivated his Cameo account after his release.
Katie Price's former husband, Lee Andrews, has seemingly signaled his release from prison by returning to social media. Andrews, 43, who was previously incarcerated in Dubai's Al-Awir jail on fraud charges, shared a shirtless selfie with his father, Peter, on his Instagram stories on Tuesday. The post was accompanied by the Kings of Leon song 'Use Somebody.'
This social media activity follows a period of separation between Andrews and Price, 48. The couple parted ways in early September after Price discovered Andrews's bank account contained only £2.22, despite his claims of being a millionaire. Price has since described the marriage as "embarrassing" and stated that Andrews "scammed her heart" by fabricating a persona.
Further indications of Andrews's return include the reactivation of his Cameo account, a platform where users can purchase personalized video messages. He originally launched the account in June, capitalizing on his self-professed "notoriety." The reactivated page now features a "Just Came Back!" banner and lists prices of £40.73 for personal messages and £739.89 for business videos, a slight decrease from his initial £41.74 fee.
Andrews also appears to have made veiled references to his estranged wife. Hours before posting the sauna selfie, he shared a clip of Halsey's 2018 song "Without Me," which includes the lyrics, "Does it ever get lonely? Thinking you could live without me." Additionally, he unfollowed Price on Instagram and updated his bio from 'Katie Price's Husband' to 'Britain's Bad Boy.' He also liked a post from The Sun detailing Price's upcoming appearance on the TV show "Celebrity Handcuffed," where she is set to be joined by politician Suella Braverman.
Despite these apparent public gestures, Price remains the only account Andrews follows on his Instagram profile. The speculation about his release was initially fueled by Instagram comedian Lily D, known online as councilestatequeen.
In a voice note from behind bars last month, Andrews stated that the separation was "for the best," while also claiming he had "funds" and that Price was mistaken about financial details. He asserted that he was not convicted of any crimes. However, Price revealed on "Good Morning Britain" that a ring Andrews claimed was worth £72,000 was valued at only £5,000 for insurance purposes, and that he had presented a fabricated identity to her.
Andrews's social media reappearance and rebranding suggest a new phase following his release and the public dissolution of his marriage to Price.
