Lee Andrews Claims Release from Dubai Jail, Vows to Leave Country

Lee Andrews, the ex-husband of former glamour model Katie Price, has confirmed his release from Dubai's Al-Awir jail in a video posted to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday. Andrews, 43, who has been imprisoned twice this year on fraud charges, appeared to be upset about having to shave his head.

"I had to get it out of my system. I had to shave it because obviously I am freshly out of jail, aka the most notorious prison in Dubai, Al-Awir," Andrews stated in the video. He also alluded to potential wrongdoing, advising, "God, don't go against the system guys, they will bury you."

Despite previous unfulfilled intentions to leave the country due to a travel ban, Andrews reiterated his plans to depart, stating, "I'm out of jail now so I can get out of the country." He added, "I need to say something about the terrible ordeal that I was in and in order to get to the person I needed to get to to get out." He also addressed his new bald look, asserting, "No I don't have a wig or a system, it's just me. It will do for now."

Andrews' release follows his split from Katie Price in early September, which she described as "embarrassing" after discovering he had only £2.22 in his account despite claiming to be a millionaire. Price stated that Andrews had "scammed her heart" and fabricated a persona. Andrews, in turn, had shared lyrics from Halsey's song "Without Me" and changed his social media bio from "Katie Price's Husband" to "Britain's Bad Boy."

He has also reactivated his Cameo account, offering personalized video messages for £40.73 or business videos for £739.89, after initially launching the platform in June. Despite apparent public jabs at Price, he continues to follow only her on Instagram.

Last month, Price spoke about their separation on Good Morning Britain, expressing embarrassment and detailing how she felt her heart had been "scammed." She also mentioned that a ring Andrews claimed was worth £72,000 was valued at £5,000 when she sought to insure it. Andrews had previously sent a voice note from jail stating the divorce was "for the best."
