As NBA training camps approach, LeBron James shared a sentimental look back at his summer with his son, Bronny James. James posted an Instagram reel featuring photos and videos of them golfing together, set to the song “Everybody Loves The Sunshine” by Roy Ayers Ubiquity. The accompanying caption conveyed his deep appreciation for these moments.

“Can’t tell you how special times like these are for me being a dad! S–t damn near had me in tears out there yesterday afternoon,” LeBron James wrote. “Never had these moments growing up so it REALLY means EVERYTHING to me. LOVE BEING A DAD!”

The images and videos capturing their summer activities were taken by photographer Abigail Keenan Field, whom James thanked in the post for documenting the memories. While the James family is primarily known for basketball, both LeBron and Bronny have been seen on the golf course throughout the summer.

Following the Lakers' playoff elimination in May, the father-son duo was photographed golfing. At that time, Bronny’s golf swing garnered attention, with some NBA fans comparing it favorably to his father’s and even drawing parallels to professional golfer Rory McIlroy.

Professional golfer Michael S. Kim also commented on Bronny’s swing, noting it as “a really solid swing.”

This summer of bonding on the golf course comes as both father and son prepare for a new phase in their basketball careers. LeBron James recently signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, marking his first time not playing for the Lakers in eight years. Bronny James is entering his third season in the NBA, and it will be the first time since his college days at USC that he will not be playing alongside his father.
