LeBron James' 76ers Face Boos in Home Debut
Philadelphia fans express frustration as the team falls significantly behind in the first half of LeBron James' highly anticipated home opener.

Boos were heard from fans at the Xfinity Mobile Arena just minutes into LeBron James' first home game with the Philadelphia 76ers. The 41-year-old NBA legend joined the team this season, bolstering a roster that includes Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid.
The team had secured a victory against the New York Knicks on opening night earlier in the week. However, during Thursday night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, James' former team and hometown franchise, the 76ers found themselves trailing by 27 points in the second quarter. This deficit prompted audible discontent from a portion of the home crowd.
By the end of the second quarter, Cleveland held a 24-point lead. The frustration extended to the halftime performer, who also faced boos from the Philadelphia audience.
