Lauren Silverman recently shared moments from a summer trip to Malibu with her fiancé, Simon Cowell. The entrepreneur posted a series of Instagram snaps showcasing activities that included hiking, pool relaxation, and family outings.

During a hike in Malibu, Silverman, 49, was pictured in lilac workout gear, including a sports bra and matching leggings. Cowell accompanied her, dressed in a grey T-shirt and white shorts. Another image featured Cowell relaxing on an inflatable chair in a swimming pool, reading a magazine. The couple also shared photos from dinners, a beach day, camping, and an outdoor movie night with their son, Eric, who is 12 years old.

Silverman reflected on her summer experience, noting a shift towards being more present and less reliant on technology. She described mornings spent outdoors, salt in her hair, sand in her belongings, ocean-view workouts, and stargazing while camping. She emphasized that the luxuries of this summer were "time, space, nature, connection, watching a sunset instead of a screen and waking up to the sound of the ocean instead of an alarm."

This trip followed Silverman's birthday celebration in Montecito. She shared photos from this event, which included a selfie with Cowell and a bouquet of white roses. The couple dined at the steakhouse Lucky's, a venue known for celebrity clientele. Silverman also mentioned enjoying Chanel, a pizza lunch, a Pilates class, and spending time with Cowell and Eric.

Reflecting on her 49th birthday, Silverman stated it was "everything I could have wished for," prioritizing "the sea, nature, long bike rides, sunshine, my beautiful doggies and being with the people I love most." She noted that Montecito holds childhood memories for her. She also mentioned a conscious break from her phone during the birthday weekend to "be present and just soak it all in."

Silverman also touched upon her health and personal growth, stating she feels "happier and more at peace than I ever have" as she enters her last year of her forties. She credited giving up alcohol as a positive decision for her health and happiness and mentioned finding purpose in her work helping to keep children safe online. She expressed gratitude for her family and her relationship with Cowell, stating she feels "exactly where I’m meant to be."

The notes also included reflections from Silverman on the period when she became pregnant with Cowell's child while married to Andrew Silverman 12 years ago. She described the experience as "intense," feeling as though she had a "scarlet letter" due to public scrutiny and media attention. She noted that the fallout was something she felt she "deserved" because she had "caused it." Her ex-husband, Andrew Silverman, filed for divorce citing adultery. Silverman and Cowell became a couple and later became engaged in December 2021.
