Lauren Laverne Celebrates Son's 16th Birthday at Mulberry Fashion Show

Lauren Laverne marked her son Mack's 16th birthday by attending the Mulberry London Fashion Week show together. The presenter shared a celebratory Instagram post on Sunday, highlighting her "mini fashion icon" son.

Laverne and Mack posed for a photo, both dressed in suits and white shirts, accessorized with Mulberry bags. Mack, who added brooches and statement glasses to his ensemble, joined his mother and "This Morning" star Cat Deeley on the front row for the event.

"16 years ago today I was bringing this newborn mini fashion icon home from the hospital," Laverne captioned the post. "We had no idea of the fun that was to come. I can't think of a better way to celebrate his birthday than by seeing the incredible @mulberrybychristopherkane #lfwshow. Mack, we love you more than we can say. Happy 16th birthday to our fabulous boy. Xx"

Laverne's celebrity friends, including Claudia Winkleman and Sophie Ellis Bextor, sent birthday wishes. Myleene Klass, Mack's godmother, also commented, with Laverne replying, "Thank you for raising him right along with us! Love you xxx."

Responding to a follower who commented on Mack's strong sense of self, Laverne proudly stated, "Oh yes - he’s been 100% himself since day one! It has been such a privilege to watch him grow up."

Laverne shares two sons, Mack and Fergus, 18, with her husband Graeme Fisher. She has previously spoken about the resilience of her children during her battle with cancer. Laverne announced her diagnosis of smouldering myeloma, an asymptomatic blood and bone marrow disorder, in July, stating that while she feels well and does not require immediate treatment, it is a chronic condition that requires careful monitoring. She has expressed gratitude for her support network, including her family, friends, medical professionals, and therapist.
