Lauren Goodger Pursues 'High Fashion' Look After Significant Weight Loss and Cosmetic Surgery Regrets

Lauren Goodger, 40, has revealed a significant weight loss of 2.5 stone, attributing it to a new diet and fitness regimen. The television personality, who gained fame on the reality show TOWIE in 2010, is also planning to have her breast implants removed as part of a broader effort to achieve a more "high fashion" appearance.

Goodger shared her progress at the launch of N0.1 Princes Street, stating that she has been incorporating Pilates and swimming into her routine and has adopted a "clean eating" approach, which she is enjoying. She also noted that she eats small, frequent meals to maintain her blood sugar levels, as advised by doctors. "I know I'll never look like I did 20 years ago," Goodger said, "But the curvy look just isn't for me anymore. I want to be more high fashion."

This pursuit of a more natural look follows years of cosmetic procedures, which Goodger now expresses regret over. She has undergone multiple surgeries, including two Brazilian bum lifts (BBLs), in an effort to alter her appearance after being unhappy with how she looked on screen and in photoshoots. "I wish I didn't have so much done so young," she admitted. "But I would look at pictures of myself and not like them, and people would point out what I should have done. That combined with having loads of free surgery offered - well you can see why it happened."

Goodger mentioned that the trend of aspiring to look like Kim Kardashian at the time influenced her decisions, without considering future implications. She also discussed getting veneers for her teeth after seeing unflattering photographs, an action she now views as "silly."

Now, Goodger aims to be a positive role model for her daughter, Larose. "Larose is going to be filled with love and confidence, and told that she’s amazing just as she is," she stated. She has also spoken to younger cast members on TOWIE, advising them against making similar choices regarding cosmetic surgery.

She reflected on her past body image struggles, noting that she was a size 8 when her "fatness" became a storyline on TOWIE and now recognizes that it was not accurate. Goodger expressed that her past obsession with her appearance negatively impacted her life, including her holidays.

Lauren revealed: 'I've been going to Pilates and swimming and I've lost 2.5 stone. I'm also eating clean but I'm enjoying it! I even have chicken for breakfast sometimes!'
