Lauren Goodger, known for her role on "The Only Way Is Essex" (TOWIE), recently participated in a girls' night out with her co-stars. The event took place on Thursday, during a week that has been emotionally significant for the television personality.

Goodger shared glimpses of the night on her social media, including mirror selfies taken while filming for the ITV series. Her co-star Amber Turner commented on the post, noting the fun they had. Goodger's Instagram Stories also featured footage of the group dancing in a club, accompanied by a caption expressing her affection for her friends.

This social outing occurred shortly after Goodger marked what would have been her daughter Lorena's fourth birthday. She posted a tribute on Instagram on Wednesday, referring to it as Lorena's "heavenly birthday."

Lorena was born in July 2022, but sadly passed away minutes after birth due to complications with her umbilical cord. Goodger, who also has an elder daughter named Larose, who is nearing her fifth birthday, organized a celebration for Lorena with balloons and a cake. Larose also participated in the observance.

In her Instagram post, Goodger expressed gratitude for the messages and support she received, stating that the love and kind words meant more than she could articulate. She thanked a friend for hosting a dinner for her and Larose. Goodger concluded by saying she trusts Lorena and Larose to continue guiding her with love and strength, and that her daughter is "forever loved, forever missed, and forever a part of us."

Goodger also spoke about the traumatic experience of Lorena's birth on the television show "This Morning" earlier in the week. She recalled planning a natural water birth at home, as she had done with her first child. However, after her waters broke and initial checks were normal, complications arose on the third day when labor contractions began but the baby's heartbeat could no longer be detected. She was subsequently rushed to the hospital.

During the birth, which lasted two hours, medical professionals attempted to save Lorena using chest compressions and medication, but were unsuccessful. Goodger stated that her daughter died due to oxygen loss. She described the years following the tragedy as being in a "flight or fight" state, emphasizing her resilience as a single mother and her hope to make her daughters proud.
