Lauren Goodger recently shared reflections on her past relationship with the late Jake McLean, stating she had "unfinished business" with him prior to his death. Goodger, 39, was observed enjoying a night out in London with her daughter, Larose, on Friday.
Goodger wore a plunging grey corset bodysuit with black wide-legged trousers for the dinner at The Blue Boar in London. She styled her hair straight, wore black sandals, and accessorized with a gold pendant necklace. She shared a photo from the outing with a caption reading, "Smiling through it all ✨ Soft moments, happy heart."
McLean died on July 3, 2022, when his car went off a cliff in Bodrum, Turkey. An inquest revealed he was driving nearly three times the legal alcohol limit and had cocaine in his system. The coroner concluded the incident was a road traffic collision, noting that the post-mortem showed traumatic head injuries as the cause of death. The inquest also noted that obtaining information from Turkey had taken nearly a year.
Goodger and McLean dated on and off for four years after meeting in 2012. Despite their tumultuous relationship, Goodger expressed that McLean is constantly in her dreams. She also mentioned speaking with his mother and sister, who reportedly wished she had a child with him. Goodger is a mother to Larose and their late daughter Lorena, who died at birth four years ago. Lorena's father is ex-partner Charles Drury. Goodger stated that McLean would have met Larose if he were alive and that she believes they had a future together.
In 2015, Goodger had expressed a desire to be a young mother with McLean, aiming to have children with him soon. An inquest into McLean's death also heard that he had previous criminal convictions, including a 2008 sentence for a home invasion. Goodger acknowledged being aware of his past when they met via Twitter in 2013 but chose to overlook it.
