Pregnant television presenter Laura Woods has responded to a social media troll who commented that her face "doesn't move" by sharing a video of herself making facial expressions. Woods, 39, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Adam Collard, posted the troll's comment on her Instagram Stories.

The troll's remark appeared in response to a video in which Woods was discussing her predictions for the Premier League season. She shared the comment with the caption, "Let's start shaming these odd men back." Woods then posted a clip of herself wrinkling her brow, emphasizing that her face is indeed capable of movement. She also stated that individuals "shouldn't be having a go at pregnant women."

Woods and Collard, who began dating in October 2023, became engaged in September 2024. The presenter previously shared her experience with a miscarriage at 11 weeks pregnant. She spoke about the emotional impact of losing a baby and how her son, Leo, born subsequently, brought her comfort during that difficult period.

"Sometimes I look at Leo and I think of the baby we'll never meet, while also knowing we wouldn't have Leo without it happening," Woods explained. "It's a very confusing feeling." She recounted a conversation with a hospital nurse who told her the baby was "not meant for this world" and that the process was the nurse's way of keeping her safe, a sentiment Woods found comforting and shared in case it could help others who have experienced miscarriage.
