Laura Hamilton, a presenter for "A Place In The Sun," has shared her distress following a harrowing experience where she witnessed a teenager die after encountering trouble in the sea. The incident has left her struggling to sleep and replaying the events.

Hamilton, 44, recounted the ordeal on social media, explaining that she had gone to a beach after filming concluded for the day. Upon arrival, she noticed a significant commotion and later learned that a fatality had occurred. She initially believed the individual was older but discovered it was a 19-year-old boy. Despite resuscitation attempts, the young man sadly passed away.

"I can't begin to imagine what that poor boy's family are thinking and feeling this morning," Hamilton stated, expressing empathy for the victim's family. As a mother of two, the experience has profoundly affected her, prompting her to share a warning about the dangers of swimming in the sea.

"If you're letting your children go into the sea, even as a grown up going into the sea, just be careful," she advised. She reflected on the fragility of life, emphasizing the importance of appreciating loved ones, as the future is uncertain. The incident has served as a stark reminder of life's unpredictability.
