Laura Anderson Reunites With Ex-Boyfriend Clark Robertson, Six Months After Devastating Split
The former Love Island star has gone Instagram official with her footballer ex, Clark Robertson, six months after their split.
Laura Anderson has confirmed her reunion with ex-boyfriend Clark Robertson, sharing photos of him on Instagram approximately six months after their reported split.
Anderson, a mother of one, made their relationship Instagram official on Tuesday, posting new images of Robertson. Previously, she had stated that the couple were on speaking terms and cautiously exploring a reconciliation.
The recent Instagram post included a smiling picture of Robertson and an AI-generated image of the couple styled in an 1980s fashion. Fans noted Robertson's inclusion in the post, with one commenter writing, "Nice to see Clark back in your team." Others expressed similar sentiments, with one saying, "Love that Clark is back."
Last week, at the Pride Of Britain Awards, Anderson commented on their relationship status, stating, "I mean, yeah, me and my ex Clark – I wouldn't say he's an ex. We're happy, chatting, seeing what happens – taking it slow. Trying to make amends, and you never know."
This confirmation follows speculation that Anderson and her footballer ex had reunited. The couple were together for 18 months before reportedly parting ways, with sources suggesting they struggled to make the relationship work. Reports indicated that Robertson had persistently attempted to win Anderson back.
Robertson had previously shared a photo of himself and Anderson in a Pilates studio on Instagram, which Anderson subsequently "liked." A source told The Sun that Anderson was initially "devastated by the break-up because she really thought she'd found her happy ending," adding that Robertson "didn't want to give up on them and has done everything he can to get them back on track."
Anderson and Robertson's split was first reported in March. At the time, a source stated, "Laura and Clark have called time on their relationship. It was a difficult decision, they both have a lot of love for each other but realised it wasn't working."
In December, Anderson had spoken about blended families during the Christmas season, noting that her relationship with Robertson was progressing well. She told The Sun that "Christmas time... can be an emotional, tricky time. I think blended families sort of bring hardship. It's not really something that I expected or had ever dealt with before. You have a child and then you meet someone and then they have kids... And actually, it's not always plain sailing."
At that time, she described their relationship as "really strong" and "doing better than ever," expressing anticipation for their children to spend time together at Christmas, as they reportedly got along well. Anderson, who shares daughter Bonnie with actor Gary Lucy, had also formed a bond with his ex-wife and her children.
