Lara Trump Discusses Possibility of More Children with Eric Trump

Lara Trump revealed on her podcast this week that her husband, Eric Trump, is eager for them to have more children. The 44-year-old media personality, who is married to President Donald Trump's son Eric, discussed the topic during an episode of "The Right View" podcast.

Lara and Eric Trump are already parents to nine-year-old Luke and seven-year-old Carolina. When a listener's question about having more children was read aloud, Lara Trump laughed and asked if Eric had submitted the question. She then stated, "Yeah, this guy's on me to have some more kids."

However, Lara expressed hesitation, noting her age and the demanding nature of raising infants. "You do get to a certain age and you're like, I don't know. I feel like I've kind of put my time in with this kid stuff," she said. She described the infant phase as being completely dedicated to a child's basic needs, followed by a period where children require constant supervision as they become mobile. "And you know, you get your life back in a sense," Lara added. "So, the idea that I'm gonna go start back at scratch... I'm out of that phase."

Despite her current feelings, Lara Trump stated that she would "never say no" and is leaving the possibility in God's hands. "Listen, if God wants this to happen, he's gonna make it happen. For me, two is great. I got one of each. I feel all set."

Lara Trump also spoke about balancing family life with their careers and relationships. She emphasized the importance of honesty with young women about prioritizing both career and family. "For both Eric and I, it's been very important to continue to work on ourselves. To continue to work on our relationship, every single day," she stated. She described herself and her husband as "the consummate and ultimate multitaskers," arranging schedules to be present for significant family events like school drop-offs and pick-ups.

She also highlighted the necessity of dedicating time to their marriage, even if it's only one day a week, to maintain their connection. "If we only have one day a week, that it will just be the two of us, we have to take that one day a week. It's important, and it connects you, and you don't get that time back."

Lara and Eric Trump met in 2008 and married in 2014. Their son Luke was born in September 2017, and their daughter Carolina followed in August 2019. Earlier this week, Lara Trump celebrated her 44th birthday.
