According to two women who were present, the evening began cordially. One of them initiated a conversation with men at a neighboring table after overhearing them speaking Arabic. The situation took a turn when one of the men allegedly offered to pay the women's bill.
It was at this point, the women stated, that another woman approached their table and sat on one of the men's laps. When the men prepared to leave, one reportedly asked the women to have the guest remove herself from his friend's lap. After this request was relayed, the women claim the altercation began.
They allege that the other woman initiated the physical confrontation by swinging and pulling hair, which led to punches being thrown in response. The women denied claims that the individual was outnumbered, stating she was briefly handcuffed by police but later released.
The video of the brawl shows two women engaged in a struggle, pulling hair and exchanging blows as diners observe. Employees attempted to intervene, with one an employee having her hand slapped away as she tried to de-escalate the situation. One woman appeared to be bleeding from her head during the fight.
