Landry Kiffin, daughter of Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin, has publicly appealed to Ole Miss fans to cease the display of sexually explicit and offensive banners directed at her. The banners, which have surfaced around the Oxford campus, target Landry due to her father's controversial move from Ole Miss to LSU.

Landry, 21, is currently completing her degree remotely from Baton Rouge after her father's high-profile $90 million defection to LSU in November. She is also dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks and made no secret of her support for the Tigers during their recent grudge match against Ole Miss in Oxford.

She posted a TikTok video expressing her distress over the banners, stating, "I normally don't respond to any hateful posts around game days, but this one actually hurts." She emphasized her continued connection to Ole Miss as a student and her positive experiences at the university, which made the offensive messages particularly upsetting. "I opened my phone this morning to pictures of banners on houses around Oxford posted on different accounts, saying really inappropriate things about me and with somebody that I genuinely have never met in my life, which makes it even more frustrating to say the least," she shared.

Landry argued that turning a young woman into a "punchline of a sexual joke because you're upset at somebody she's related to should not be okay." She acknowledged the heightened emotions surrounding the rivalry but asserted her identity as an individual separate from her father's professional decisions. "I will just never understand how someone can feel good about themselves putting such vulgar things about a girl on a giant banner hanging from their house," she said, expressing hope that people would recognize the "actual person behind the jokes."

The atmosphere at the game was tense, with Ole Miss fans expressing their displeasure towards Lane Kiffin. Chants of "asshole" were heard during ESPN's College GameDay broadcast, where Kiffin appeared via satellite. Fans also displayed signs with messages critical of Kiffin's decision-making.
