Landry Shamet, fresh off helping the New York Knicks secure their first championship in 53 years, has ignited engagement rumors. His partner, Cameron Aimonetti, was photographed on their Italian vacation sporting a substantial diamond on her left ring finger.
The couple was seen on the Amalfi Coast, where Aimonetti's new jewelry drew attention. The ring was reportedly not present on her finger after the Knicks clinched their title on June 13, following their victory over the Spurs. As they boarded a boat, Aimonetti appeared to place the ring on her finger from a case, according to reports.
Shamet and Aimonetti, who have been publicly dating since at least September 2024, were not previously known to be engaged. The couple appeared to be in good spirits, sharing a kiss and lounging on a boat, with Shamet also seen taking photographs of his partner.
Following the Knicks' championship win, Aimonetti posted an emotional tribute to Shamet on Instagram, celebrating his role in the team's success. She described his "mental strength and discipline" as key to reaching the championship moment.
Shamet was a valuable contributor off the bench during the Knicks' playoff run, averaging 16.3 minutes per game and shooting 47.5 percent from beyond the arc. He notably made 11 of 12 three-point attempts during the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cavaliers. Following the Finals, Shamet signed a four-year, $24 million contract extension with the Knicks.
