Landry Kiffin Finds Humor in Dad Lane's LSU Loss at Ole Miss

Landry Kiffin, daughter of LSU head coach Lane Kiffin, found a silver lining in her father's team's defeat to Ole Miss on Saturday. Following the 32-24 loss in Oxford, Landry, who is a student at Ole Miss and the girlfriend of LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, posted on Instagram about her game-day outfit. "Well at least the outfit was good," she quipped.

Landry Kiffin attended the game dressed in a yellow Prada dress and matching heels, accessorized with black sunglasses. Her post drew a comment from former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne, who wrote, "the fit won."

The 21-year-old documented her preparation for the game on social media, sharing photos of herself with curlers in her hair and enjoying pregame snacks.

Lane Kiffin's return to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, his former home field during his six years as Ole Miss coach, was a focal point of the matchup. However, the game was also marked by reports of vulgar messages and taunts directed at Landry Kiffin prior to the contest. She shared in a TikTok video that she had been sent images of banners with inappropriate messages about her and an individual she did not know.

"I think that turning a girl into the punch line of a sexual joke because you’re upset at somebody someone she’s related to should not be OK," Landry Kiffin stated in the video. "I understand emotional are high this week and people are upset but I am my own person."

Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss in November to take a position with LSU, signing a seven-year contract reportedly worth $13 million annually. He brought several assistant coaches and players with him. The loss for LSU came on a crucial fourth-down interception in the red zone, with head coach Kiffin seen falling to his knees after the play.

LSU, now 2-1 on the season, is scheduled to host Texas A&M on September 26. Ole Miss, improving to 3-0, will travel to Florida for their next game.
