Production for Season 3 of the Paramount+ series "Landman" is underway, with a projected release date in mid-to-late 2027. The series, which stars Billy Bob Thornton, was renewed for a third season in December 2025 following its success in its second season. Filming for the upcoming season is scheduled to continue through early 2027.
James Jordan, who portrays Dale on the show, indicated in July that filming would begin approximately one month after his statement. "We know that the audience cannot wait. We’re going to get to work on that and try to get it out as soon as we can," Jordan told Decider. Jane Wiseman, EVP and Head of Originals at Paramount+, confirmed that series creator Taylor Sheridan is still actively involved in writing for "Landman."
The second season finale of "Landman" premiered on January 18, 2026. Seasons 1 and 2 of the series are currently available for streaming on Paramount+.
