Production for the third season of Taylor Sheridan’s crime drama “Landman” is scheduled to commence in late August in Fort Worth, Texas. The series, which airs on Paramount+, has been on hiatus since its second season finale in January 2026.
While an official release date for “Landman” Season 3 has not been announced, the show’s stars have shared insights into the production timeline. Actor Billy Bob Thornton confirmed in May 2026 that filming was delayed until late August. James Jordan, who portrays Dale in the series, recently confirmed receiving a script for the upcoming season, indicating that pre-production is progressing.
The first two seasons of “Landman” premiered in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively. Based on these previous release patterns and the current production schedule, an early 2027 release for Season 3 is anticipated.
“Landman” Season 2 achieved significant streaming numbers, prompting Paramount+ to renew the series for a third season in December 2025. Viewers can stream the first two seasons of “Landman” on Paramount+. The service offers two subscription tiers: Essential for $8.99 per month and Premium for $13.99 per month. Paramount+ can also be added to Amazon Prime Video and Hulu accounts, with the latter offering a free trial for eligible Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers.
