Paramount+ has not yet announced an official premiere date for "Landman" Season 3, but new production timelines suggest a possible early 2027 release. The series, starring Billy Bob Thornton, was renewed in December 2025 after its second season achieved record-breaking viewership numbers.

The second season finale aired on January 18, 2026, and the show has been on hiatus since then. While an initial expectation for a November 2026 return was considered, series star Billy Bob Thornton indicated in a recent podcast appearance that production was delayed until "the end of August." This revised schedule makes a late 2026 premiere unlikely, with early 2027 now a more probable window.

Paramount+ announced the renewal of "Landman" for a third season, highlighting the show's significant success. The premiere episode of Season 2 reportedly garnered over 9.2 million streaming views within its first two days on the service, marking a 262% increase from the first season's premiere and becoming the most-watched premiere for any original series on Paramount+.

The first two seasons of "Landman" are available for streaming on Paramount+. The service offers two subscription plans: Essential, which is ad-supported, and Premium, which is ad-free and includes Showtime titles and live CBS programming. Currently, Paramount+ is not offering a free trial. The platform can also be accessed through Hulu or Amazon accounts.
