Lana Del Rey's Husband Denies Cheating Rumors, Blasts Influencer

Jeremy Dufrene, who leads alligator tours in Louisiana and is married to singer Lana Del Rey, has forcefully denied rumors of cheating that circulated on social media. The allegations were amplified by an anonymous female influencer on the Instagram account Celebritea Blinds, who noted that the claim was initially unverified.

Dufrene took to the comments section of the post, expressing his anger and disbelief. "Who is this rumor spreading b!+(h ?," he wrote, before directly addressing fans of his wife. "Yall don't believe this." He further asserted his constant presence with Del Rey, stating, "She seen this and was like what bull s***. Lady go fly a kite if you know how." Dufrene concluded his public response with emojis of a kite and a middle finger.

Del Rey and Dufrene recently marked their second wedding anniversary. The singer celebrated by sharing previously unseen images from their nuptials on Instagram. Dufrene and Del Rey exchanged vows in September 2024 in an intimate ceremony on the Louisiana bayou, approximately one month after their relationship became public.

Their acquaintance dates back to 2019, when Del Rey visited Louisiana for the Buku Music + Art Project and took one of Dufrene's swamp tours. Their connection remained platonic until 2024, when Del Rey brought her siblings on a tour with Dufrene. She posted a photo of the outing on Instagram, captioning it: "Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene."

Dufrene's ex-fiancée, Kelli Welsh, who was engaged to him for 12 years until October 2023, expressed surprise at his marriage to Del Rey. Welsh noted that she was in shock given their long engagement, but stated she was happy for him. "He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man. He needed to get out of his comfort zone," Welsh commented, adding that Dufrene appeared genuinely in love with Del Rey.

Welsh recounted their history, which began as teenage sweethearts. After Dufrene's first marriage and subsequent divorce, during which he had three children, he reunited with Welsh and proposed in 2012. However, their wedding was postponed due to the death of her father.

In a previous interview with W Magazine, Del Rey spoke about her relationship with Dufrene, saying she realized she loved him almost immediately. She recalled Dufrene's response to her anxieties about his exposure to public scrutiny: "Jeremy said: 'I work with alligators - I have tough skin.' And he is a man of his word. All the things that made me upset - and there were so many! - he would just listen and say: 'You be you - and I’ll just love you more.'" Del Rey also noted Dufrene's calm demeanor when their romance first attracted public attention, stating he told her, "If you want, worry about yourself, but don’t worry about me!"
