Lamar Jackson Suffers Ankle Injury in Ravens' Victory
Coach Jesse Minter expresses optimism about the severity of the quarterback's injury after he sat out the second half.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sustained an ankle injury late in the second quarter of the team's 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Jackson did not return to the game after halftime, but head coach Jesse Minter indicated that the injury is not believed to be long-term.
"Little bit of an ankle. Don't know enough about it right now, we'll have to see where that's at," Minter stated following the game. "Hopefully it's in a good spot."
Jackson was injured on a sack by Titans defensive end Jermaine Johnson on the final offensive play of the first half. He was seen limping to the sideline. Prior to leaving the game, Jackson had contributed to the Ravens building a 24-7 lead with 222 passing yards and two touchdowns, adding 20 rushing yards.
Minter mentioned that there were discussions about potentially reinserting Jackson into the game in the second half. The Ravens offense did not score after halftime, with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley completing eight of nine passes for 63 yards.
Jackson remained in uniform on the sidelines before heading to the locker room with less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. He had also been limited in practice the previous week due to a back issue.
The Ravens, now 3-1 on the season, are scheduled to play the Falcons on the road next week.
