Among the shared moments was a video of her husband, billionaire Michael Lewis, and their three-year-old daughter, Athena, playing in the sea. This display of family life is a departure from Spencer's usual privacy regarding her relationship with Lewis, whom she married in 2021. The couple, who met through mutual friends in 2018, welcomed Athena in 2023.
Spencer, who is 32 years younger than her husband, shared images of herself in a polka dot bikini and also included snapshots of their family activities. Michael Lewis, 67, is the chairman of the Foschini Group, a retail company that owns brands such as Whistles and Phase Eight. He is believed to be worth £80 million and has other properties in London and South Africa. His grandfather founded a furniture retail business in the 1930s, and his father later acquired a stake in the Foschini Group.
Spencer and Lewis married in 2021 at Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, Italy. Her father, Earl Spencer, and her cousins did not attend the wedding, with her brothers Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and Samuel Aitken walking her down the aisle.
