Lady Kitty Spencer Honors Royal Style at British Museum Ball

Lady Kitty Spencer, niece of the late Princess Diana, was a notable attendee at the second annual British Museum Ball in London on Sunday.

Spencer arrived in a striking ruched red satin gown and cape by Dolce & Gabbana, adhering to the event's red dress code. She accessorized with red Dolce & Gabbana heels and a diamond choker from Chatila Jewelers. Her ensemble drew comparisons to iconic red outfits worn by Princess Diana.

The event, which hosted over 850 guests, celebrated three global milestones for the British Museum, including the loan of the Bayeux Tapestry from France. The ball has been described as London's rival to the Met Gala.

Other attendees included Maya Jama, who wore a burgundy gown, and Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, in a scarlet dress. Mick Jagger and his partner Melanie Hamrick were also present, though they deviated from the red dress code.

Spencer's appearance followed a summer of travel and family time, with recent glimpses shared on her social media accounts. These included images of her daughter, Athena, and travels to locations such as the Hamptons and the French Riviera, including a stay on a luxury superyacht. She has maintained a relatively private personal life, balancing public appearances with family moments.
