Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, are focused on raising their daughter, Rose, away from the glare of public attention, according to a source speaking with Page Six.

The couple is reportedly enjoying their new family life in a "little family bubble," venturing out on occasional outings but largely maintaining their privacy. The source described Gaga as "fiercely protective" of her daughter and selective about who is included in their "inner circle."

Gaga, who has long valued her privacy, has reportedly elevated this to a new level since becoming a mother. The goal is to provide Rose with as "normal a childhood as possible," shielded from the attention that comes with her mother's fame.

"Gaga has always been such a strong, powerful woman, but becoming a mom has brought out this incredibly soft, emotional side of her," the insider shared. "She’s embracing every moment of it, and the people closest to her can see just how much this new chapter means to her."

Following years of commanding large stages, Gaga is reportedly embracing a more subdued home life. "She’s loving the quieter moments at home and just getting to spend time with her daughter," the source said. "She’s spent so much of her life working and being in the spotlight, so having this time to focus on her family has been incredibly special."

Page Six first reported on September 11 that Gaga and Polansky had welcomed their first child together. The couple was subsequently photographed with their newborn during an outing in Northern California, with Gaga carrying the infant.

Previous reports indicated that Gaga was deeply involved in every stage of the surrogacy process. "This has been a very long and emotional process for Gaga," a source had told Page Six. "There were so many appointments, meetings and logistics involved, and she was incredibly hands-on throughout the entire surrogacy process. She was very involved with her surrogate and wanted to be part of every step of the pregnancy."

It was important for the singer to connect with the woman carrying her daughter and to be as involved as possible. "After everything she’d been through trying to become a mother, she didn’t want to miss a single moment," the insider added. "Having someone she could trust throughout the pregnancy meant everything to her."
