Labour MPs are reportedly compiling a list of colleagues facing allegations of impropriety, sleaze, and sexual misconduct. The dossier is intended as a warning to Andy Burnham, potentially regarding future government appointments.

The list, which has reportedly been seen in part by the Daily Mail, is said to include several high-profile Labour figures, some of whom are currently ministers in Sir Keir Starmer's government. Three female Labour MPs are said to have spearheaded the compilation, which identifies around 30 MPs and peers.

A senior Labour source told LBC, which first reported the initiative, that the list's creation is a proactive measure to advise Burnham: "We don't want to risk the next government making any of the mistakes of previous ones." The source described the individuals on the list as those "thought to be sex pests, accused of being bullies, being creepy, having dodgy pasts - anyone with inappropriate behaviour."

This development follows a similar instance less than four years ago when Charlotte Nichols, the Labour MP for Warrington North, publicly named 20 colleagues from various parties on an alleged "sexual harassment list." Nichols has stated that she is not involved in the current list's creation.

Westminster has been abuzz with speculation regarding the identities included in the current dossier. However, one female government source criticized the effort, telling the Daily Mail, "I think it's totally appalling." She added, "Anyone with a complaint should go to the parliamentary authorities. I don't know if any of these people are sex pests, but I don't think it's up to three women to be a unilateral HR system."
