Kym Marsh Plans Fourth Wedding Amid Concerns Over Whirlwind Romance
The former Coronation Street actress is reportedly set to marry her fiancé Tom Dickinson next summer, despite skepticism from friends.
Kym Marsh is reportedly planning a large, fourth wedding ceremony to Tom Dickinson, her sixth fiancé. The couple intends to tie the knot next summer, following Marsh's reunion tour with the band Hear'Say.
Marsh, 50, began dating Dickinson last autumn. He proposed during a romantic trip to Paris in March. This union would mark Marsh's fourth marriage. Sources indicate the couple has already begun the process of selecting bridesmaids and have looked at venues.
Marsh intends for her four grandchildren to have a role in the wedding. A source told The Sun that Marsh is committed to a traditional white dress wedding and is aware of public opinion but remains undeterred, stating, "She knows she wants to spend the rest of her life with Tom."
Friends and fans have expressed concerns about the speed of Marsh's latest relationship. Some have grown weary of her public declarations of love, noting past instances where she has referred to partners as her "soul mate." Marsh has been married three times previously and has accepted six proposals.
Marsh's past relationships include an engagement to Dave Cunliffe (1994-1999), followed by marriages to Jack Ryder (2002-2009) and Jamie Lomas (2012-2014). She was also engaged to personal trainer Dan Hooper (2014-2015) and later married Army Major Scott Ratcliff in October 2021, separating in May 2023.
Her most recent public relationship was with actor Samuel Thomas, who is 19 years her junior. They dated for approximately six months, with Marsh describing him as her "soulmate" before their separation. Marsh and Dickinson were first seen together in November.
Marsh's children include son David, 30, and daughter Emilie, 28, from her relationship with David Cunliffe. She also has a 14-year-old daughter, Polly, with ex-husband Jamie Lomas. Her son Archie, born prematurely in 2009, passed away shortly after birth.
