Kylie Jenner revealed that her boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, is the reason she became a New York Knicks fan. On a recent episode of the "Better Half" podcast, Jenner explained that she was not previously interested in sports fandom unless it was connected to a relationship.

"It wasn’t until I went to my first Knicks game that I fell in love," Jenner said on the podcast, recounting her initial experience at Madison Square Garden. The "Kardashians" star noted the "energy in the stadium" as a significant factor in her developing appreciation for the team. She has since followed the Knicks for two seasons.

Jenner and Chalamet, who began dating in 2023, have frequently been seen courtside at Knicks games. Their attendance has coincided with a successful period for the team, including their championship win in June 2026, their first title since 1973. Chalamet was notably enthusiastic during the championship celebrations, expressing a preference for the win over attending the Oscars.

Chalamet's dedication to the Knicks extended throughout the playoffs. He reportedly prioritized attending Game 1 of a playoff series in May over other events, such as the Met Gala.

"For them to win, I mean, I’m the luckiest Knicks fan ‘cause I feel like I am a new Knicks fan… and I got to see them win!" Jenner commented on the experience of witnessing the championship.

Jenner has also developed a notable wardrobe for game days, curating a collection of orange and blue attire, the Knicks' team colors. She mentioned having "a whole section in my archive closet of just orange and blue things," including vintage Chanel pieces and custom items. She also described the practical need for oversized jackets to ensure comfort while seated courtside.
