Kylie Jenner Borrows Kim Kardashian's Versace Dress for St. Tropez Wedding
The reality star chose a vintage yellow gown from her sister's closet for a recent nuptial event.
Kylie Jenner recently opted for a borrowed ensemble for a wedding in St. Tropez, selecting a striking yellow Versace dress from her sister Kim Kardashian's extensive wardrobe. Jenner, 29, documented her packing and preparation process in a YouTube vlog, where she tried on the vintage gown with her stylists.
The dress, a corseted design from Versace's spring/summer 1995 collection, was first worn by Kim Kardashian, 45, at a Business of Fashion dinner in 2018. Jenner noted in the vlog that the dress would require tailoring to fit her properly, promising it would look "a lot better" once adjusted.
During her packing session, Jenner also considered other options for the wedding festivities. Among these were a floral dress from Chloé by Stella McCartney's spring/summer 1998 collection and a yellow satin printed Roberto Cavalli design. Jenner's access to her sister's designer pieces highlights the Kardashian-Jenner family's shared approach to fashion. Kim Kardashian has previously spoken about the sisters being "pretty chill when it comes to sharing" clothes, though she humorously added that if Jenner borrows an item, it might not be returned easily.
In other recent discussions, Jenner has spoken about her desire for further cosmetic surgery. In an August episode of the "Better Half with Stas & Vic" podcast, she expressed dissatisfaction with her current breast implant size and a wish to go "bigger." She indicated a desire for larger implants, stating, "I want my t*ts to walk in before I do." While Jenner initially suggested she might not undergo another breast augmentation before turning 30, she did mention plans for a belly button piercing by the same milestone, envisioning "diamonds dripping from my belly button."
