Kyle Sandilands has successfully recruited Brooklyn Ross, his former KIIS FM newsreader, to join his new independent subscription show. Ross, 38, had previously indicated he would remain with ARN and not join Sandilands' new venture.

Sandilands, 55, has been assembling a team of former colleagues from "The Kyle & Jackie O Show" for his new project, tentatively titled "Kyle Sandilands Live." A video posted to Instagram showed the reunion at Sandilands' Vaucluse residence, which is serving as the show's headquarters. Upon Ross's arrival, Sandilands exclaimed, "Thank God! Thank God!" as they embraced.

"It couldn't have worked out better," Sandilands told Ross, vowing to "line your pockets with gold." Ross expressed relief and optimism about reuniting with the team. "Oh, yes, back together," he cheered upon entering the studio.

Sandilands also showed Ross a "golden throne" set up in the studio, intended for Jackie 'O' Henderson should she decide to return to work with them. Ross commented, "I hope she's here and that was part of my decision. I think if she comes anywhere, it would be here."

Ross joins a group of former "Kyle & Jackie O Show" staffers who have moved to Sandilands' new show, including Jaimee 'Mayo' Blazquez, Alfie Laguzza, Josh Fox, Pedro Cuccovillo Vitola, and reporter Mary Madigan. Initially, Madigan was slated to be the sole newsreader, but Sandilands indicated that Ross and Madigan will now share newsreading duties, with Madigan also contributing cultural commentary.

ARN released a statement confirming Ross's departure: "After more than a decade with ARN, Brooklyn Ross has decided to leave the business. We thank Brooklyn for his contribution over the years and wish him well for the future. Plans for our new lineup are underway and will be announced in due course."

Approximately six weeks prior, Ross had publicly stated his commitment to KIIS FM. "I will not be working with Kyle on his new venture. I'm going to be staying here at KIIS," he had said, expressing sadness about not working with Sandilands again but wishing him the best.
