Kyle Sandilands' Manager Enters Mental Health Facility
Radio host Kyle Sandilands revealed on air that his long-time manager and friend Bruno Bouchet has checked into a mental health facility.
Bruno Bouchet, the long-time manager and close friend of radio personality Kyle Sandilands, has voluntarily entered a mental health facility for treatment. Sandilands, 55, shared the news during his live radio show on Thursday morning, making a call to Bouchet, 40, who was awaiting transport to the facility.
During the on-air conversation, Bouchet sounded subdued, confirming that his wife Laura was preparing to drop him off for treatment. Sandilands alluded to Bouchet's intense work schedule, suggesting it contributed to his current struggles. Bouchet expressed gratitude for Sandilands' support.
Newsreader Brooklyn Ross offered words of encouragement, telling Bouchet, "You're an inspiration Bruno. Look after yourself." Sandilands also commented that it was positive Bouchet was seeking help voluntarily.
This situation comes months after fans expressed concern for Bouchet's well-being in August. At that time, reports indicated he had been foregoing sleep to support the launch of Sandilands' new subscription venture. During broadcasts, Bouchet appeared visibly exhausted, sometimes struggling to stay awake and slurring his words. Listeners flooded the show's comment section with messages urging producers to send him home and prioritize his health.
At the time, Bouchet himself had spoken about the extensive efforts involved in launching the new platform, admitting to working without sleep and mentioning the use of Ritalin. Sandilands had previously defended the project, addressing technical difficulties that arose during its rollout. Bouchet serves as the managing director of King Kyle Group.
