Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley Reconcile Ahead of 'RHOBH' Season 16

Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, whose friendship had become strained in recent seasons of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," appear to have reconciled. Chanel Ayan, an alum of "The Real Housewives of Dubai," shared this update exclusively with Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea."

Ayan stated that she observed Richards and Kemsley interacting positively at NBCUniversal's Pre-Emmy party, describing them as "really close" and having a "great time" together. She also mentioned that Richards initiated a WhatsApp group chat including herself and Kemsley, calling the gesture "just so cute."

The friendship between Richards and Kemsley had reportedly cooled in Season 13, coinciding with Richards' closer relationship with country singer Morgan Wade. Tensions surfaced further when Kemsley revealed a text message from Richards at the Season 13 reunion, which she characterized as "manipulative." The situation escalated in Season 14 when Richards sent a supportive text to Kemsley's estranged husband, PK Kemsley, amid their separation.

Despite a public reconciliation and promises to "move forward" at the Season 14 reunion, Richards later indicated at BravoCon 2025 that she and Erika Jayne were not on speaking terms with Kemsley. This came after viewers saw an intervention scene in Season 15 where cast members addressed Kemsley's behavior following her separation from PK.

Filming for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season 16 is currently underway, with new cast members Leah Remini and Tracy Tutor joining the show. Ayan anticipates drama between Kemsley and Tutor, citing a previous accusation where Tutor allegedly failed to pay her glam team, a claim Tutor has denied.

Ayan urged viewers to show Kemsley "a bit of grace" as she navigates a difficult period, emphasizing that "She’s going through a lot. We don’t need to be tough on the girl."
