Kroy Biermann, ex-husband of Kim Zolciak, has been ordered to pay over $64,000 for failing to settle a casino credit agreement from a 2021 trip to the Bahamas. The judgment comes as the couple's 15-year-old son, KJ, faces seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy, stemming from an alleged sexual assault of a female classmate.

KJ was arrested on August 17 and subsequently indicted. He is set for release on a $200,000 bond with strict conditions, including remaining at his mother's home, attending school virtually, abstaining from social media and cellphone use, and undergoing electronic monitoring. He is also prohibited from contacting the alleged victim or anyone under 16.

The incident reportedly occurred on April 23 at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia. The grand jury indictment includes charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment.

During a Friday court hearing, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy stated that KJ had previously faced sexual battery charges in October 2025, which was adjudicated in juvenile court and resulted in court supervision set to expire in 2027. KJ's attorney, Jason Sheffield, denied these characterizations, stating that the prior juvenile matter involved inappropriate behavior between middle-schoolers and did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape or comparable offenses.

Sheffield described the current allegations as "predatory" and stated that the alleged victim suffered "documented physical injury." He also filed a transfer request to move KJ's case to Georgia's juvenile justice system, arguing for the teenager's potential for rehabilitation.

Biermann and Zolciak, who are in the midst of a contentious divorce, attended KJ's bond hearing together, presenting a united front. Zolciak has publicly maintained KJ's innocence, calling the allegations "reckless and deeply troubling" and claiming her son passed a polygraph examination and that no DNA belonging to him was found at the scene.

Meanwhile, Biermann's gambling debt case involves Sky Warrior, the company managing credit lines for the Baha Mar Casino. Sky Warrior sued Biermann in 2023 and successfully sought to transfer the collection enforcement action to Georgia. The ruling awards Sky Warrior $52,500 in principal, plus prejudgment interest, and $11,927.35 in attorneys' fees and costs.

Both Biermann and Zolciak are living separately in rental properties in the Atlanta area following a foreclosure and sale of their former Milton, Georgia mansion. KJ's plea and arraignment hearing is scheduled for October 14.
