Kroy Biermann has been ordered by a court to pay a $64,000 gambling debt, a judgment issued shortly after his 15-year-old son, KJ, was granted a $200,000 bond in a sexual battery and sodomy case. The debt is connected to a November 2021 trip Biermann took to the Bahamas.
Sky Warrior, a company that manages credit lines at the Baha Mar Casino, was awarded $52,500 in principal, plus prejudgment interest, and $11,927.35 in attorneys' fees and costs. Biermann, 41, was served the post-judgment order at his Georgia home on August 28.
This legal development comes as the former NFL athlete's son faces accusations of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. KJ was arrested on August 17 following a complaint from a female classmate. The alleged incident occurred in April at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia. The accuser claims that KJ Biermann assaulted her in a co-ed sauna and attempted to force sexual intercourse upon her.
During a court hearing on September 11, prosecutors also alleged that investigators found multiple videos on KJ's cellphone depicting him having penetrative sex with a family member under the age of 12. KJ's attorney has stated that the characterizations made in court misrepresent the facts and resolution of a prior juvenile matter, describing it as "inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers."
KJ was granted a $200,000 bond by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge. As part of his bond conditions, KJ must remain at his mother's home, attend school virtually, abstain from social media, and is barred from cellphone use. He will be under electronic monitoring and is prohibited from contact with the alleged victim, her family, and anyone aged 16 or under.
Kroy Biermann and his estranged wife, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, share six children. He adopted Zolciak's two daughters from a previous relationship, and they also have KJ, 14-year-old Kane, and 12-year-old twins Kash and Kaia.
