Former "Strictly Come Dancing" professional Kristina Rihanoff recently shared photos from a family trip to Florida, showcasing her time on the beach with her daughter, Mila.
Rihanoff, 48, was seen in a black bikini alongside her 10-year-old daughter, Mila, whom she shares with rugby player Ben Cohen, 47. The photos emerged shortly after Rihanoff commented on the future of the BBC dancing competition, suggesting it needs to be "rested."
"Strictly" Shake-Up
The former "Strictly" pro's comments come amid a significant shake-up of the show's professional dancer lineup. It was previously reported that five professional dancers—Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova, Michelle Tsiakkas, Luba Mushtuk, and Gorka Márquez—were removed from the upcoming season. Rihanoff, who participated in "Strictly" from 2008 to 2015, stated that if the show's bosses are planning a revamp, the series should take a hiatus for a year to "regroup and think about what we can do differently."
She suggested that the show could benefit from returning to its roots, focusing on "ballroom and Latin dancing" without excessive props and 3D projections. Rihanoff recalled that when she joined the series, the emphasis was on the dance styles themselves, with minimal props and live group dances, and that professional dancers choreographed the routines. She added that the uncertainty of year-long contracts can take a mental toll on the professionals.

Rihanoff stated that she departed "Strictly" in 2015 because she "didn't want to be there anymore."
