Kristin Cavallari has brought her sons, Cameron and Jaxon, into the family business to model for her recently launched men's jewelry line. Cavallari, who rose to fame on "Laguna Beach," established Uncommon James in 2017 initially as a female-focused brand. The collection has since expanded to include men's pieces, as well as home goods, apparel, and beauty products.
Cavallari shared photos on Instagram of her sons, aged 13 and 12, modeling chains from the men's collection while playing basketball. She quipped in the post, "We launched men’s jewelry at @uncommonjames so obviously I had to find the 2 cutest models available." The boys are her children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, with whom she also has a 10-year-old daughter, Saylor.
Instilling a Work Ethic
Cavallari stated in an interview on the podcast "Aspire" that she is committed to teaching her children the value of hard work. "My kids don't just get whatever they want. And if they want something, they have to work for it," she said. She recounted an instance from the previous summer where her sons started their own small businesses, with one washing windows and the other cleaning garbage cans, to earn money for items they desired.
She also discussed her approach to travel arrangements for her children, noting that they fly coach while she travels in first class when they are old enough. Cavallari explained that this is intended to help them understand that her earnings are her own and not theirs. She clarified that when her children were younger, she would sit with them in economy, but now that they are older, she believes they can manage on their own. Cavallari and Cutler finalized their divorce in 2022 after a seven-year marriage, and he has custody of the children every other weekend.
