Kristin Cavallari has resurfaced in public attention due to a viral clip of her past podcast interview with Travis Kelce and a recent photograph with Chicago Cubs player Pete Crow-Armstrong. The reality television personality, 39, also reiterated her claims about the financial terms of her divorce from former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler.
Cavallari appeared alongside Crow-Armstrong, 24, for an Instagram photo promoting a collaboration between her apparel line, Uncommon James, and a men's necklace collection. The photograph was taken at Wrigley Field, the home stadium of the Chicago Cubs, during a game against the Minnesota Twins. Cavallari, known for her role in "The Hills," also had the honor of throwing the first pitch at the game.
Meanwhile, an old clip from Cavallari's "Let's Be Honest" podcast, recorded in September 2023, has gained traction online. In the episode, Cavallari told Kelce, "I loved him" and described him as her "TV crush." The interview occurred shortly before Taylor Swift's first public appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game, an event that brought her relationship with Kelce into the public spotlight. In the unearthed clip, Cavallari asked Kelce about the nature of initial attraction and whether chemistry could grow over time, to which Kelce responded that while an initial spark is enjoyable, getting to know someone's daily tendencies can foster a deeper connection.
Cavallari also recently discussed her divorce settlement with Cutler on the "Aspire with Emma Grede" podcast. She stated that she did not receive any money from her ex-husband and, in fact, had to pay him "half the value" of her business, Uncommon James, in cash and properties. Cavallari, who stated she self-funded the brand, credited its success with giving her the confidence to leave her marriage. She expressed thankfulness for the situation, believing it pushed her to become stronger.
Jay Cutler has previously disputed Cavallari's account of their divorce settlement. In August of the previous year, he called her claims "completely false" on his "Take it Outside" podcast. Cutler argued that in Tennessee, a judge would not permit one party to keep all assets from a marriage, suggesting a legal settlement would necessitate a division of assets.
Cavallari and Cutler were married for nearly seven years before announcing their split in April 2020. Cutler was previously arrested and served a four-day prison sentence in Tennessee in October 2024 for a DUI offense.
