Kristen Bell surprised attendees at a Savannah Bananas baseball game in Denver, Colorado, on Saturday with a powerful vocal performance. The 46-year-old actress, widely recognized for her role as Anna in Disney's "Frozen," sang "For The First Time In Forever" from the 2013 film while in the stadium stands. The performance was captured and shared by pop culture account @jockcult, sparking a wave of reactions online from fans impressed by her singing abilities.
Social media users expressed their astonishment, with one commenting, "Her serving vocals, I'm shocked." Another added, "Woah, she sounds soo good live!" Many noted that people may have forgotten Bell's vocal talents, given her extensive acting career. One user wrote, "People really forgot Kristen Bell has been casually carrying Anna's vocals this whole time." Another fan admitted, "I had no idea either. Her voice is genuinely amazing!"
Bell was joined on the field by singer and baseball player Derek Klena, who performed "Dancing Through Life" from "Wicked." The duo later collaborated on a duet of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.” Klena, a 34-year-old Broadway star, joined the Savannah Bananas team in December 2025.
The Savannah Bananas' Instagram account shared their excitement for the collaboration, calling it "the mashup we never knew we needed." Several public figures also reacted to Bell's performance. Chrishell Stause of "Selling Sunset" humorously commented, "Wait, I like sports now...?" while Reese Witherspoon praised Bell, stating she was "making the Bananas even more magical."
Looking ahead, Bell is set to reprise her role as Anna in the upcoming "Frozen 3," scheduled for release next year. Disney recently previewed the film at its D23 convention in Anaheim, California, where Bell also performed alongside co-star Idina Menzel, who voices Queen Elsa.
