The eighth season of "The Kardashians" premiered with Kourtney Kardashian expressing strong disapproval of actress Jennifer Lawrence, while her sisters Kim and Khloe engaged in a cycle of pranks.

Kourtney Kardashian lashed out at Jennifer Lawrence, calling her "more annoying than ever" in a conversation with her friend Simon Huck. This reaction stemmed from a November 2025 interview where Lawrence, speaking with Robert Pattinson, made critical remarks about Kourtney's public statements.

During the interview, Lawrence, connected to a polygraph, was asked if Khloe was her favorite Kardashian, to which she responded affirmatively. When Pattinson queried about Kourtney, Lawrence stated, "Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts, because everything has to be an announcement. It's like, 'I'm not going to wear outfits anymore.'" Lawrence mimicked Kourtney, adding, "Like, just wear what you want. Don't make an announcement."

In response, Kourtney, who was breastfeeding at the time she saw the clip, expressed her anger, saying, "F*** that b**** Jennifer Lawrence." She recalled telling her mother, Kris Jenner, that she would "slap the s*** out of her" if Lawrence was invited over. However, Kourtney later softened her stance after learning Lawrence had reached out to Kim Kardashian for her contact information and subsequently sent Kourtney an email stating she felt "just like one of your sisters." Upon rewatching the clip after receiving the email, Kourtney admitted, "Oh, it's not that bad," attributing her initial strong reaction to a "really sensitive week" where she felt attacked by public perception.

Meanwhile, the premiere also highlighted a prank war between Kim and Khloe. The conflict escalated when Khloe placed condoms and lubricant in Kim's bag just before Kim filmed a "get-ready-with-me" video. Khloe explained in a confessional that the prank was a response to her family's frequent discussions about sex. During the video, Kim discovered the items and, after initially trying to explain they were not hers, blushed as she contemplated the hotel bill. Kim then involved their mother, Kris Jenner, by having the charges for the items transferred to Kris's room.

The prank continued as Khloe called the front desk to reroute the charges, humorously implying to the hotel employee that Kris was engaged in "pleasuring things when she's supposed to be celibate." This led to a confession from Kris Jenner, who expressed disbelief and embarrassment about her daughters' actions behind her back.

"The Kardashians" airs weekly on Thursdays on Hulu.
