Knicks WAGS Share Ring Night Moments Amidst Home Opener Loss
Behind-the-scenes glimpses from players' partners and wives surfaced as the Knicks celebrated their championship with ring ceremonies before falling to the 76ers.
The New York Knicks celebrated their recent NBA championship with a ring ceremony on Wednesday night, marking their home opener. Players and their families gathered at Madison Square Garden as two new banners were raised to the rafters and championship rings were presented.
Wives and girlfriends of the players shared glimpses of the celebratory evening on social media. Lexi Sousa, girlfriend of Tyler Kolek, and Shannon Hart, wife of Josh Hart, both posted videos of their partners accepting their rings on the court from Knicks legend Walt Frazier.
Sousa shared a video on Instagram with the caption, "My champ!!" and later posted a photo of herself and Kolek, who wore a Knicks bomber jacket. Sousa sported a shirt with "No. 23" on it. She captioned the photo, "Ring szn."
Hart also shared moments from the evening, including a TikTok video with Josh Hart where they discussed their "game day fit." Hart wore a Skims bodysuit, Mugler leggings, and an Isabel Marant leather jacket, accessorized with a blue Hermès bag. Josh Hart wore a white Skims tee, a brown Acne Studios jacket, Amiri jeans, and Hermès loafers.
Ali Brunson, wife of Jalen Brunson and daughter-in-law of former Knicks coach Rick Brunson, was also in attendance with their daughter, Jordyn. Brunson, a Pilates instructor and physical therapist, posted a photo of herself and Jordyn looking at the court.
Jordyn Woods-Towns, wife of Karl-Anthony Towns, was also present and showcased a new gold bag from her "Woods by Jordyn" clothing line. The Tux Clutch Mini in 'Trophy Gold' is a limited edition item.
The celebratory atmosphere preceded the Knicks' season-opening game against the Philadelphia 76ers, which the Knicks lost 106-100. The 76ers secured the win with a significant run in the third quarter. The Knicks are scheduled to play the Boston Celtics next before returning home for games against the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons.
