Several members of the championship-winning New York Knicks basketball team have reportedly been invited to the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
According to a report from Page Six, Knicks players Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns received invitations to the ceremony. The wedding is scheduled to take place on Friday in New York.
Swift and the Knicks share a connection, as the singer was a notable attendee at Game 4 of the NBA Finals. During this game, the Knicks achieved a historic comeback, overcoming a 29-point deficit. Swift was seen sitting courtside, wearing a blue and orange "Stevie Knicks" T-shirt, alongside singers Este and Alana Haim, and actress Mariska Hargitay. The Knicks secured their third victory of the Finals in that game.
Este Haim described the experience of attending the game with Swift as "magical," noting the unprecedented loudness of Madison Square Garden during the comeback. The Haim sisters and Hargitay are also reported to be among the high-profile guests invited to the wedding.
Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, was not present at the Knicks' comeback game, though he had previously attended an Eastern Conference final game with Swift in Cleveland. Some of Kelce's Chiefs teammates, including three-time Super Bowl-winning coach Andy Reid, have also reportedly received invitations to the wedding.
