Knicks Star Josh Hart Roasts Red Sox for Game-Changing Decision

New York Knicks player Josh Hart took to social media platform X to criticize the Boston Red Sox's strategy during Game 2 of their wild-card series against the New York Yankees. The Red Sox opted to intentionally walk batter Ben Rice with a runner on second and a base open, choosing instead to pitch to Cody Bellinger.

This decision proved costly for Boston as Bellinger subsequently hit a three-run home run, extending the Yankees' lead. Hart expressed his disbelief and criticism of the Red Sox's managerial decision.

"YOU WANTED TO WALK RICE TO GET TO BELLI?! BOSTON YOU DUMB AS HELL!!!" Hart posted on X. "NY RUNS BOSTON. BELLI IS HIM."

Bellinger's home run in the bottom of the sixth inning gave the Yankees a commanding 8-1 lead. While the Red Sox managed to add a run in the top of the seventh via a solo shot from Nick Sogard, the offensive surge from Bellinger's hit was a significant turning point in the game.

Hart, who recently won an NBA championship with the Knicks, has shown a keen interest in baseball. He threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Yankee Stadium in late September before a game against the Baltimore Orioles. He and teammate Jalen Brunson had also previously thrown out first pitches in mid-June, shortly after their championship victory.
