Knicks Championship Rings Valued at $250,000 Amid Intricate Design Details

The championship rings awarded to the New York Knicks players for their 2026 NBA title are valued at up to $250,000 each, according to industry estimates. Renowned jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills designed the rings with input from Knicks leadership, incorporating intricate details and a significant amount of precious materials.

Each ring is adorned with 22 carats of diamonds and sapphires, set in over 180 grams of gold, with nearly 800 individually placed stones. Neil Dutta, managing director at Angelic Diamonds, provided the valuation, comparing the Knicks' rings to the Golden State Warriors' 2022 championship rings, which reportedly had a manufacturer's price of $108,000 and featured approximately 16 carats of diamonds. Dutta noted that the greater gemstone weight and complexity of the Knicks' design support the higher estimated value, though the quality of individual stones would also influence the final price.

The design of the Knicks' ring includes a miniature, functional replica of Madison Square Garden's exterior, which rises with a turn of the ring. The underside of the removable portion recreates the Garden's ceiling, while the top displays the arena's lower bowl. A .16-carat diamond marks the team's 16-point comeback in the deciding Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Additionally, 16 emerald-cut diamonds line the inner band, representing each playoff victory.

The shank of the ring is engraved with the phrase "Knicks in Five," referencing their NBA Finals series win against the Spurs. The intricate construction, particularly the movable Madison Square Garden replica and the precise setting of hundreds of stones, presents a significant manufacturing challenge.

Jason Arasheben, the designer from Jason of Beverly Hills, described the ring as "priceless" when appearing on "CBS Mornings," emphasizing that its design captures the team's identity and key moments of their championship run. He highlighted the unique combination of round brilliant and emerald-cut diamonds, radially set blue sapphires, and individual player tributes as elements that tell a distinctively New York Knicks story.

Jason of Beverly Hills also offered 200 premier rings for public purchase at $19,995 each, with individual numbering. A more affordable fan collection, featuring nickel alloy and cubic zirconia, is valued at $299, with other fan merchandise ranging from $299 to $15,995.

This marks another high-profile championship ring for Jason of Beverly Hills, who has designed eight of the last 10 NBA title rings, as well as championship rings for the Carolina Hurricanes in 2026 and the Seattle Seahawks' 2026 Super Bowl victory.
