KJ Biermann Released on Bond Under Strict Conditions

KJ Biermann, son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, has been released from jail on a $200,000 bond but remains under stringent conditions as he awaits trial on felony sexual assault charges. The 15-year-old is now living with his mother, Kim, in Alpharetta, Georgia, under court-ordered restrictions that significantly limit his contact with the outside world.

Biermann is prohibited from having any cell phone, using social media, or participating in sports. He is confined to his mother's home and will be subject to electronic monitoring. Additionally, he is barred from any direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, their family, or associates, and is forbidden from interacting with anyone under the age of 16.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge imposed these conditions after granting Biermann's bond on September 11. His attorney, Jason Sheffield, had argued in court that Biermann is not a "boisterous kid" and that his mother, who is not currently employed, could supervise him. As part of his release, Biermann was also required to surrender his passport.

Biermann was arrested on August 17 and held at the Atlanta Metro Youth Detention Center. He was formally indicted earlier this month on charges including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, false imprisonment, and three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16. Prosecutors allege that videos involving Biermann and an underage family member were found on his cellphone. They also claim he had been under court supervision since October 2025 in connection with a prior juvenile matter.

Sheffield has maintained Biermann's innocence, stating that "the characterizations made in court regarding the prior juvenile matter involving KJ Biermann grossly misrepresent both the facts and the ultimate resolution of that case." He previously told Page Six that his client is "100% innocent" and provided evidence, including a passed polygraph, to the arresting officer.

Biermann's cellphone has previously been a point of contention in his parents' divorce proceedings. A legal expert had previously suggested that if released, Biermann would likely face significant restrictions, including GPS monitoring and house arrest with home-based schooling.

KJ Biermann's next court appearance is scheduled for October 14 for a plea and arraignment hearing.
