Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast members Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, is living under a rigid daily regimen at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta. He has been in custody since his arrest on Aug. 17.

Glenn Allen, Director of Communications for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, stated that the daily schedule for youth detainees is designed to provide structure, accountability, education, and opportunities for personal growth. While specific routines can vary by facility, the core components aim to maintain a secure and structured environment conducive to education and rehabilitation.

A typical day for detainees like KJ begins with mandatory morning hygiene, room cleaning, and breakfast. This is followed by educational instruction that continues through the afternoon after lunch. The remainder of the day incorporates recreation, dinner, and individual or group counseling sessions. These sessions focus on treatment, life skills, behavior, and personal development, concluding with evening hygiene and preparation for bedtime.

The schedule also accommodates activities such as visitation, worship services, mentoring, music and creative arts, life-skills sessions, and group counseling. Some days may include barber services, while others are dedicated to wellness programming or skill-streaming.

Breakfast options at the facility have included items like cinnamon toast, filled pastries, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, scrambled eggs with pancakes, and bacon. Lunch menus have featured chili dogs, BBQ riblet sandwiches, chicken burritos, chicken tender salads, hamburgers, pizza, and breaded chicken sandwiches. Dinner entrees can range from Sriracha chicken with spring rolls and Salisbury steak to lemon-pepper wings, chicken drumsticks, baked rotini, and country-fried steak, with desserts such as cookies, cake, brownies, gelatin with fruit, and ice cream.

KJ Biermann was arrested on charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. A hearing is scheduled for September 1. According to court documents, a female classmate accused him of an assault at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, on April 23. An investigation by the Alpharetta Police Department followed.

Through his attorney, Jason Sheffield, KJ has vehemently denied the allegations. The statement emphasized his presumed innocence and urged the public to avoid prejudging the case, requesting privacy for both families involved.

Kim Zolciak has also issued a statement denying the allegations against her son, calling them "reckless and deeply troubling." She expressed confidence that the facts and evidence will establish the truth and asked for the proper legal process to unfold without the spread of unproven claims.
