Kirstie Allsopp, known for her role on the television program "Location, Location, Location," has provided an update on her recovery following surgery on her leg. The 55-year-old presenter was airlifted to a hospital after sustaining an injury from a fall on a steep, muddy path in Devon. A week after the surgery, Allsopp shared via Instagram that she is recovering at home and experiencing a return of sensation in her leg.

Allsopp described the incident, which occurred on her birthday, as a slip on a "muddy patch on a steep path" at Welcombe Mouth beach. She noted that it required "a whole host of people" to locate her and facilitate her transport via air ambulance. Following the surgery, she is currently using a boot and crutches but expressed gratitude for the swift medical response and the ability to continue working from a seated position.

She shared her optimism about her healing process, stating that she is experiencing sensation in her toes and up her leg. Allsopp also mentioned plans to film the Christmas show in October, adapting to her condition. She humorously suggested she might publish a book titled "A Leg with a View" and shared that her sons visit her while she recovers, though they will soon be returning to university.

Her co-host, Phil Spencer, sent well wishes in the comments of her post, encouraging her to "Be still & heal properly." Allsopp was visiting the beach with her husband, Ben Anderson, and their sons, Bay and Oscar. She has been married to Anderson, a property tycoon, since January 2025, after being together for over two decades.

Allsopp also reflected on her long-standing professional relationship with Spencer, humorously recounting how she became his co-host on "Location, Location, Location." She recalled an initial casting process that considered other candidates before she and Spencer were eventually chosen for the show, which first aired after a pilot episode. The pair have maintained a close working relationship for 25 years, though they do not socialize outside of their professional capacity. Allsopp emphasized their deep mutual respect and support, highlighting Spencer's presence during significant life events.
