Kirk Cousins' Hot Mic Moment Goes Viral Amidst Raiders' Struggles

During the Raiders vs. Rams game at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, quarterback Kirk Cousins became the subject of viral attention due to a hot mic moment. Near the end of the first quarter, as Cousins pitched the ball to rookie running back Mike Washington, his excited shouts of "GO! GO! GO! GO! GO!" were broadcast and quickly circulated on social media.

The NFL posted a clip of the play on X, formerly Twitter, where it garnered numerous reactions from users. Comments included "the zoomies hit him hard," "this is the best part of Sundays," and "There goes that man!"

While the audio clip provided a moment of levity for online viewers, the game itself proved challenging for the Raiders. By the third quarter, the team was trailing the Rams 28-6, heading towards their fourth consecutive loss. The Raiders' offense had struggled, accumulating only 133 yards compared to the Rams' 241. As of that point in the game, Cousins had completed 17 of 27 passes for 125 yards, with Washington Jr. leading the team in rushing with 21 yards on four carries. The team had yet to score a touchdown in the game.
