King Kenny Seen Leaving Maya Jama's Flat Amidst 'Celebrity Traitors' Buzz
Sources deny romance rumors, stating the pair are 'just friends' after the show's finale.
King Kenny was observed leaving the London residence of Maya Jama the morning following the broadcast of the "Celebrity Traitors" finale. The sighting fueled speculation among viewers who had noted chemistry between the two during their time on the show.
Despite on-screen interactions that viewers interpreted as flirtatious, sources close to Jama have firmly dismissed any romantic involvement. They stated that Kenny had been staying at Jama's flat as a friend and that the pair found the romance rumors amusing. "Maya and Kenny are just friends. There is nothing romantic between them," a source told The Sun. "Kenny has been firmly on the sofa this week and the pair find it hilarious that their relationship could be anything else."
Kenny was reportedly at Jama's flat for two nights. Photos show him departing the property on Saturday morning to attend filming for "Romesh’s Celebrity Traitors Reunion" on Radio 2. He later returned to Jama's flat to watch the "Celebrity Traitors" final as it aired.
Jama and Kenny developed a "strong bond" during the filming of "Celebrity Traitors," where Kenny served as a Traitor alongside Maya and James Acaster. During the show, Kenny, still posing as a Faithful, even discussed the possibility of Maya being a Traitor, telling Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian 'Bash' Croft, "If Maya is a Traitor, I will never look at her in the same way." The remark prompted laughter from the other contestants.
In the show's grand finale, which drew a record 11.2 million viewers, King Kenny ultimately voted to banish Maya from the round table, a move he described as "so difficult" but necessary for his potential solo victory as the last remaining Traitor. Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian 'Bash' Croft were ultimately crowned the winners.
Maya Jama, who recently split from Manchester City player Ruben Dias in May after 18 months, was not present for the "Traitors Uncloaked" spin-off show due to filming commitments. She is currently working on series three of Guy Ritchie's drama "The Gentlemen."
